I had NO idea that it's called Queens because that's the name of the group



We all assumed nasty bitches was the present day mess. Now I'm really bout to stan for this shit. Yes 🤌🏾

I remember from the article that the group was originally Nasty Bitches in the 90s then they change the name to Queens when they reunite. The song here is Nasty Girl...which I prefer to Nasty Bitches personally. Hopefully they changed it before shooting the pilot.

And no, they won't change that i don't think. It's part of the storyline. Brandy is Naomi but she was "Xplicit lyrics" in the 90's. There's nothing explicit about saying girls over bitches so i don't think that's happening

It makes sense even if people don't use. She's gonna be going through a lot when the show moves to present day and she tries singing in lounges and dive bars with her guitar

The fans (in the show) aren't here for it and want her to go back to her rough and don't give af attitude and music.

With Tim story directing this, I'm kinda confident in this one. And the mf budget >>>>>

Her character seems to be super bohemian and artistic in present day. Does the series take place in NY or LA?
