I'll start

shoop
that Dolly Parton cover
That Chaka Khan cover
My Love
Those 2 Brandy did at the awards

damn I'm drawing blank at this point

- It's Not Right But It's Okay
- Million Dollar Bill (she released this during her final years)
- I Wanna Dance With Somebody
- How Will I Know

Also, I actually loved a lot of her songs on The Bodyguard soundtrack. "I'm Every Woman" & especially "I Have Nothing" :stressed:
Heartbreak Hotel
My Love is Your Love
All The Man
Run To You
So Emotional
I Believe In You & Me

Not Mariah being a derivative of Whitney and Aretha and Janet being one of Michael and Prince  :dead:
Ray...

I don't agree with Jans shade but early Mariah was literally modelled on Whitney and she counts Aretha as a big influence vocally...
it wasn't shade. Janet basically does the female version of Michael dance-wise
and has the Prince Minneapolis sound musically
Janet did the Minneapolis sound for a few songs on one album album and her dancing is nothing like Michaels tbh
She's her own artist thus why she has more hits than either one.
She only worked with Jam & Lewis on Control? Her dancing is very choreographed just like Michael's shes just doing feminine moves

Dr Naomi Campbell

But imagine wanting to be an artist and having Michael Jackson as your brother djdjdjdj
The automatic comparisons, you'd have to be BRILLIANT to be able to be counted for your own mess and not your brothers  :plzstop:
Then being able to go toe to toe with him and even best him at times

the only similar choreography they have is Nasty and Bad, and Nasty came out before Bad

all their choreo is the fast paced, highly technical and choreographed style. Janet just does female moves & Michael does male ones. Which is why most performers are influenced by both and do tributes to both

I said Whitney because her music wasn't as great as her voice, she was definitely the singer and not the visionary artist like Janet or Mariah
They had a image/sound that they took forward every time.
Whitney was known as "the voice" groundbreaking voice, music? Eh.

I'm sorry but what image did Mariah carry forward that was so much more progressive and "visionary" than what Whitney was doing?
