Lol I just finished the movie and it isn't bad I knew I couldn't trust people talking about appropriation and all this other stuff. This is nothing like the Rodgers and Hammerstein's version the stepmother and sisters aren't mean to Cinderella they all get along. Cinderella doesn't want a man she wants to be a business woman but the stepmother trying to force her to marry anybody(for money). Billy Porter is not even in the movie 10 mins, they used him solely for promotion. From reading what people been saying I thought Billy was going to be the only black person, the cast is diverse except the main cast but they are all big names so clearly they were trying to use them to draw people in too
I'm not big on musicals but they sung quite a few popular songs not from Cinderella but like billboard popular songs
