I like it . I think I know why they're doing this

To remind their users that these are human beings delivering our food ... with their own families and stories . Not robots

Maybe it will encourage people to be just a little more thoughtful and generous . Show them how much we value their service - especially in this COVID era where we really rely on them more than ever .

Back in January they were exposed for making their drivers sign shitty contracts, pay their  own insurance because they were considered "self employed contractors" or something

This is neoliberal bullshit trying to make the customer feel bad instead of the company taking action. Anyway, if this helps customers treat them better, then so be it
