Well Kim was 1st, Diddy basically pitted them against each other. Mary didn't like that Puff would have Faith going adding backing vocals to songs on My Life. On top of Faith being a clone of Mary. I think people forget that Mary was never signed to Bad Boy she simply just worked with Puff.
