I sooooo miss the experience of music stores... being able to preview the albums in stores. I would be in Sam Goody/Camelot/FYE forever as my mom shopped in the mall. I discovered so many random artists back in the day bbvvssdffs

Yes places where you could rent movies is nostalgia! There's something about seeing those movie covers and it was really difficult to get some of the new ones. It felt very exclusive if you could get your hands on the latest release.

I also remember going to record stores and just going through these cds..sometimes I would just buy because of a cover. I would check certain letters like B for Brandy and see if there was a new release. I don't know it was so different from the digital world. I do love streaming and being able to travel with music without having to drag a suitcase full of cds. And I would for example buy a cd on holiday and play it there for the first time..and when I play music now it brings back memories of that trip.

Yes putting on those headphones to preview albums gave me life

:scrumptious:

There was a store called The Wall that gave you a lifetime warranty on your CDs. All you had to do was put the blue sticker on it and you could get a free, new CD if your old one got scratched.
