Yes places where you could rent movies is nostalgia! There's something about seeing those movie covers and it was really difficult to get some of the new ones. It felt very exclusive if you could get your hands on the latest release.

I also remember going to record stores and just going through these cds..sometimes I would just buy because of a cover. I would check certain letters like B for Brandy and see if there was a new release. I don't know it was so different from the digital world. I do love streaming and being able to travel with music without having to drag a suitcase full of cds. And I would for example buy a cd on holiday and play it there for the first time..and when I play music now it brings back memories of that trip.
Streaming is so convenient, but the accessibility of music has really driven down the value. I remember people would cut school to go to the music store to get whatever dropped that day.

I remember I would let music grown on me..nowadays I simply don't have the patience anymore to check new music. I pick a couple of songs I like and probably miss out on a lot of great songs. I don't know..
