Reading the comments on the black blogs have been such a sad experience. So many are taking her vaccine hesitancy as science based FACT. It's disheartening. It saddens me that such a large part of the population thinks like that. Just WOW!!!
The comments on my Twitter were very disturbing. I had to log off. It's so sad there is so much hesitancy but I also feel Trump, Biden and all those US health officials are somewhat responsible for spreading misinformation.
People in the USA pay so much more for meds and medical procedures than the rest of the world, it's big business. So I get why people think oh this must be a way for big pharma to earn money. Collective health care is just not something the Americans want but for other countries this is the way to keep costs very low, so everyone has access to healthcare.
Trump also had a big effect on the media and misinformation. Journalists who would normally inform people with facts all of a sudden were viewed as people with a strategy to brainwash (hidden agenda). He created a world filled with doubt, paranoia and this stubbornness.
Also I feel like there needs to be more money for education because if you learn science in school and understand how vaccines work you don't have to wait to do research.
