The entertainment/modeling industry is the only place where whites can be unapologetically prejudice and oppressive, without laws in place to stop them from doing so. No affirmative action, no Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. I doubt that's getting a drastic change anytime soon.
Unless the government sees the pressing need and importance of handing out more Oscars and catwalks to minorities. We just had a Black President in office who hasn't looked into it. So yeah.
Every human deserves equal opportunity for education, and to equally compete for jobs so they can survive in a money driven country. Otherwise they will suffer -- homelessness, etc.. This is why it's clear why these laws are needed, even though even THOSE rules are broken under the table.
There's absolutely nothing to stop these industries because it's based on "talent". And I put that in quotations for a good fucking reason. Boycotting will help I guess. But are the Oscars really checking for black audiences? Do they put a black host in place to appease our pallets, and to draw us in, or as coon entertainment for
their evening?
