Holaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

Jada sit the fuck down hun.

The only reason your speaking up is because Will hasnt been nominated, because this shit has been happening for YEARS, why all of a sudden you give a fuck? :uhh:

People only cry "racism!" "Blacks work together!" When its convienient for them, just like when Nicki was crying over that vma snub.

The kicker though is that The smiths HAVE a movie production company yet they dont even give black actors work. So miss me with the sympathy card jada punk-ass smith

It doesn't really matter when or why tbh
!!!
Sick of these fags foamin at the mouth, sayin the same thing!

"Hidden agenda!"

Who cares if it might come from a self-serving place, it is a discussion that needs to be had. It ain't about the MESSENGER BUT THE MESSAGE.

Felt the same about the Nicki/Taylor thing. Yes, Nicki only became Sojourner Truth after she felt slighted but some valid points were made! White people getting rewarded for mediocrity. And its the 1950s on radio all over again. Hardly a nigga in sight on pop radio and white artist are being played heavily on urban radio too.

Will and Jada(especially her) have spoken out against injustice several times. They have an organization devoted to helping ppl within marginalized groups...but yeah she's just speaking out because her husband wasn't nominated lolz
that makes Will's comment about diversity last year, that much more troubling and confusing

She may be genuine, but will ...

Im just curious why everyone keeps mentioning Will when Jada is speaking for herself...?

well, I doubt Will is gonna stroll down the red carpet in spite of his own wife declaring war on the academy's racism but yea...I'm sure he was in the other wing of the mansion picking out his tux while Jada was recording this video.

Him supporting her physically (even IF he doesn't show up) and him supporting her perspective are two totally different things. Just because you're married to someone doesn't mean you become one entity...at least that's what I thought.
In the eyes of most people, and the "eyes of God" , marriage symbolizes two becoming one. So it's no surprise people expect spouses to uphold the beliefs of their other half. Do I think that is "right"? No. But there is some logic in these expectations, given the country's social (and even religious/spiritual) definition of marriage.
