Syleena Johnson is sharing her thoughts on the latest concerning R. Kelly – and she doesn't believe he should be in jail.

Last month, R. Kelly was found guilty of federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges in Brooklyn. He could get life behind bars once sentenced. During the trial, witnesses took the stand and testified that the singer had inappropriate relationships with several underage girls and often subjected them to verbal, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse.

On a recent episode of Cocktails With Queens, the co-hosts spoke on recent reports that R. Kelly was allegedly working with prosecutors to get a reduced sentence, by providing information on other celebrities who have been with minors. Syleena Johnson shared her thoughts and said, "I'm not gonna cry. I think he has really been misjudged here. I don't think he needs to be in jail. I think he needs to be in an insane asylum. Real talk."

"Don't get it twisted. I think he needs to be in a straight jacket. I think some of the behavior that has been going`down has been erratic, and I think that a lot of Black men in jail have been misjudged." Full story on #theJasmineBRAND.com 🎥 @foxsoul

i def think there are mental issues there, but he has sexually assaulted (and probably flat out assaulted) the gors. he's committed crimes. prison is only appropriate.

I see her point. But all that matters right now is that he's not free, so he can't continue his abuse.

I was just thinking of this the other day.

There needs to be a combo

Jail them (because they knowingly broke the law) but offer to shave an inch off their sentence if they participate in studies and therapy which could help us see what's going through the mind of someone sick enough to touch kids.

That could ultimately help us develop preventive measures and possibly pinpoint red flags in behavior that could save kids from having to go through this at all - bring proactive instead of it always being a reactive thing once the damage is done .

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated to be only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

It'll probably have access to a therapist in prison.
That's all it needs

FRANCE

Well, that'll only work if he admits to his crimes. Which I don't see him ever doing.

Working with a therapist would be admission of guilt.

By the way this is from April this year. It's so sick he had this team helping with crimes.

QuoteAn associate for singer R. Kelly took a plea deal on Monday that admitted he tried to silence one of Kelly's accusers by setting her SUV on fire, the New York Post reports.Michael Williams pleaded guilty to one count of arson for destroying an SUV rented by the father of one of R. Kelly's ex-girlfriends, Azriel Clary. In exchange for accepting the plea deal, the prosecution has agreed to drop the witness tampering charges against him. He's now facing a minimum of 60 months and a maximum of 71 months under federal sentencing guidelines.

In June, Clary took to Instagram where she showed the charred vehicle which was set on fire in front of the Florida home where she lived in with her family. The court found that Williams used his cell phone to search the home's address just two hours before the arson. Williams' identifiably damaged GMC Yukon was also captured on toll plaza cameras traveling from Georgia to Florida before the arson, then returning to Georgia afterward.

Clary doesn't seem to be Williams' only intended target. Per court documents, he googled "how do fertilizer bombs work?" 10 days after the arson for no known reason as well as searching "witness intimidation" and "case law for tampering with a witness." Williams was charged alongside Donnell Russell and Richard Arline Jr. for these crimes last year. Like Williams, Airline pleaded guilty in February.

Despite these men being closely connected to Kelly, the singer and his legal team maintain R. Kelly has no connection to these crimes. "R. Kelly had nothing to do with these alleged acts by these people," Kelly's lawyer Thomas A. Farinella said to the New York Times.

Arline Jr pleaded guilty to bribery: Richard Arline Jr. offered half a million dollars to stop a woman from telling investigators about her relationship with the jailed R&B star.

His old manager Donnell Russell was charged in two counts with threatening physical harm by interstate communication, and conspiracy to do the same, for placing a threatening phone call to a theater in Manhattan to prevent the screening of the doc on December 4, 2018. And also he is in trouble for harassing/intimidating the Jane Doe. Back in November 2020 it was announced they were working on a plea deal.

All of his allegations are OLD. None of them are recent.

You're still as dumb as a bag of rocks, I see.

It was already revealed that he wasn't associated to the person who did this and it wasn't even her car. It was her father's rental.
