Back when she didn't own her masters, we saw in 2015 that Atlantic had her go back and record new vocals for "The girl is Mine", that UK record that had to be approved using Beyoncé's vocals as well as hers. They could've sampled the 1998 vocals but Brandy didn't own her masters then
