girl please

white guilt is a thing. they feel bad and get defensive just by us telling our damn history and experience. so what are we supposed to do? not talk about it.

she can stay under whatever rock she was  :dead:

The Only BLACK Kalmyks

haven't listened to this whole thing yet but the first few seconds alone

"Ur gonna overcome it , push thru it "

It's sounds kinda "pull urself up by the bootstrap"-ish

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

She's right about not having to put white people down in order to uplift black people but what the hell does that have to do with critical race theory? It's a history class, no?

the fact that they literally kick the mess off by stating critical race theory is NOT taught in k-12 only for her to go and harp about white kids feeling bad

girl shut the fuck up

The Only BLACK Kalmyks

What about the black kids in the classroom 'zza :usureuok:

I can kinda give her a pass on what her parents taught her cuz that wasn't in her control . My grandparents never spoke a lot about race and I kinda had to find out on my own why people are so concerned about  whos white, who's black, who's this or that - why it is so important . All the dynamics of racism and colorism etc

going to the south for the first time really opened my eyes though . Eventually I woke tf up

so I'm just surprised that someone of her age who has seen and experienced so much through multiple generations still can think this way.

How can u be so experienced in the world and be sitting around worrying about white kids and their feelings
