The vocal producers don't need Beyoncé's permission to make a mistake in editing. Kelly was in there singing the song with Bey and the takes got intertwined in editing. Period.

If it was realized after mix and master, it's not worth bothering to fix, since Kelly sounds so much like Bey there.  Bey was like "they'll never think that, meh" but now that we have thought it, they both mute, for reasons u just quoted.
