I think GODliyah emotes down on a lot of her songs

I can feel the conviction and she had a true connection to her music . That to me is soul

it never felt empty or bored

Okay, I respect your opinion. I just dnt think we should consider Aaliyah a SOUL singer or artist. Brandy is even treading the fine line when it comes to SOUL, but her voice and technique saves her and proab Afrodisiac, Unreleased, Debut Album and some of Full Moon.
