Explain to me what makes "I care for u" a song that wouldn't fit Jill Scott . I'm listening

It just doesn't fit her voice or singing style. Jill kinda either gives you a soulful punch or melodic poetry....IC4U isn't in that realm, its a little too produced, notes are too long and somber for Jill. I love the song, I just don't see her singing it.
