November 2003 Brandy released Turn It Up on Vinyl and online as a promotional single before the release of Afrodisiac.

I remember when it first leaked it had completely different vocals from the version that is available on the album.

Over the years I guess I have lost the original MP3 as I just went hunting and cannot find it.

The only place I still have this version is the "DJ Envy Remix" feat. Gravy.... that version has the same vocals from the original 2003 release.

The song hit #2 in Germany and was #22 on their year end chart

There is also a Turn It Up (Sticky Remix) that was released in Germany that I cannot find either

There is also a Denny Tsetto House Mix that I can't find.. He's a New York City DJ and it's supposed to be an incredible dance version

There's also a DJ Sios House Remix out there somewhere

And the version with rapper Vic Damone

I wish there had been a music video for this song. It got excellent reviews as one of the better songs on the album. Timbaland and Candice GG Nelson did their thing for this one...

It was a tribute to 90's music ... and it was also a Rodney Darkchild Jerkins diss track

I will always have a special place in my heart for this song and I really hope that the original 2003 version without DJ Envy and Gravy resurfaces too

:plzstop:

If anyone has any of the version I just mentioned.. .please share.

Monk

Turn it up was a strong track

I use to go back and forth about whether I like it or not. I grown to really love it, it's fun and would have been great single for Brandy to return with. Sometimes you just wanna play a jam with some bounce on a Friday/Saturday night.
IDK, Robyn's Back!!!🥂

I think the video could have been really fun with all the 90s references in the song

FRANCE

Should've been left off the album completely. This and Sadiddy. And replaced w/ Sirens and Nodding Off.

TogetherAgain

Thanks for posting. I wasn't aware of the alternate version of the track or its success in Germany

Nodding Off should've been lead single.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's kinda mind blowing a bit... I see why Sirens was left off the actual album b/c it was very Liy inspired but Nodding though and over Turn It Up?! They bugged out for that

Quest

Does anyone have the demo version if Finally?
