He or his mom, somebody paid for this concert. If neither of them have any money in savings or anything he shouldn't have even been at that concert. I find it hard to believe between them they're really that bad off
That was some dumb ass shit to say. I'm not rich and damn sure treated myself to two seafood boils this week. Just because people ain't rich or have 10 bands stacked away for a funeral don't mean they can't enjoy life's special moments like concerts, theater, tours, sports events, vacationing, etc. This is the equivalent of "Why do you have a designer bag but have a food stamo card?" You don't know if that shit was gifted or discounted at Marshalls or purchased at better times. You don't know what the fuck is going on. Him going to that concert don't have shit to do with the family not affording a funeral.
10 bands? Are y'all really from some places where everyone gets cremated except the top 1%? Funerals are not that expensive you don't have to be rich to have one
Whether it costs 10k or not, the rest of her point still stands.
No mother is saving up money to bury her own children, and whether she had savings or not is besides the point.
Her child died at the hands of someone else's reckless, she deserves financial compensation for that, at the VERY least.
We're forgetting all the little variables that happen in life
Is she in debt?
Does she work? Is she disabled? Was her son the breadwinner in the family?
Like have some compassion and empathy
She's not asking the YOU to foot her sons funeral bill, just the rich reckless individuals that facilitated her sons death.
They'll be ok.
