Nah it's came from from real fans before. When I said that people feel she does too many runs I wasn't speaking about overdoing them. Most people sometimes just wanna hear her SING  if you get what I'm saying.

I mean in most of her singles shes doing like 5 runs max in the whole song, and spaced far apart. who are these ppl that are lying on Bran?

And outside of Borderline and Saving all my love .. b7 is the least amount of stacking she's done on an album since Human and NSN IMO. She does a lot in spots but not throughout.

Unconditional, Lucid Dreams, and Say Something immediately come to mind. If anything, she lowkey stripped down a lot and tried something different as far as I'm concerned.

You aren't wrong about people not being into that style of singing. There are many people that aren't into vocalists and singing at ALL and the radio and records that are popular right now are proof of that. I just think your initial post only included the part about runs and this post that I'm quoting is more clear, that's all.

They love to say Bran just does "runs" to throw a jab at her but in none of Bran's music has she ever done too many runs or have they been ill-placed. Brandy has been giving Lyric Soprano her entire career.... but she's been leaning into this higher range for years now.... Its nice to be able to get songs from her that show off so many different textures of her voice. This song is a classic so it's nice to hear Brandy's version... I wish there was a full length version on iTunes to purchase like there was with Hear Me..

I'm like "ummm Jazmine is definitely more of a runner babe". They just have different styles and approach music differently which is what makes them both dope to me. But if we're just talking runs? that confuses me. Especially if we're talking Jazmine on stage
