Tired of everyone on social media coming for Black gays and lumping everyone together as the mean girls. No. I saw someone on twitter say that if the approach was respectful, then the rejection should be respectful as well, and i agree with that. It's not about "owing" someone anything in particular or coddling them. Just be a grown ass man or woman and use your words. n

i feel your sentiments but this would be akin to saying there's no Black community just because of a few million "bad apples" (for lack of better phraseology) and i don't personally subscribe to that line of thinking. I think overall the community is pretty strong, even with the clear separation and painfully obvious ranking in terms of the proverbial totem pole. Strong in some ways and very very fragile in another way, for a few reasons. Ugh.

Idk. You aren't really wrong i guess, i just take solace in being a part of the Black community and the Black gay community, as difficult and stressful as it can all be. I'm absolutely speaking for myself, to be clear.
