Yes! Lil' Kim's "In The Air Tonite" was a top 5 hit in Germany. I still hear it on the radio from time to time.

And "Another Day In Paradise" was also quite big in Germany.

I believe that Urban Renewal project wasn't released in the States though.

She hasn't had exposure like she's currently getting since like 2002. It's been about a 3-4 month promo run for her albums then quiet for about 10-15 yrs.
Ed Sheeran is 30 yrs old so she was huge when he was growing up but a teenager from the UK would probably BARELY know her from like Cinderella
