Conceptually it was great. But it did not live up to the hype.

I only listened to it once. I really wanted to like it because it was cohesive and I liked the interludes, but the songs weren't that good.

H.E.R. has cute songs but these nominations year after to year is baffling.

Yeah i love "Other side" and "Lost one", personally, and can see why everyone loves the other songs but they didn't do for me what her previous 3 albums did. Namely Fearless and Reality show

At least Eric got nominated... does that sort of count for Brandy? 

No it doesn't. The Grammys don't acknowledge Brandy and it's been that way for a while. But many artists are never acknowledged so I don't let it get to me as much as it used to. I used to think she was blacklisted. Who knows?

At least she has one. A lot of her peers don't have any.

All of brans albums have been good enough for a grammy nom.   AFRO all the way to b7.. b7 for SURE i just knew she was getting one.  something for sure isnt right.. when HER is getting all these noms but none of brandys get it??? i am sorry but FUCK

Someone on twitter (in the music biz) said many people didn't even vote at all last year    that didn't help. A lot more people are sent ballots now and a lot more Black Artists and people in media, but, apparently many of them got lazy.  It was the height of the pandemic tho, so, whatever. I'll let that one slide i guess

Reality show has sooooooo many standout records.  Brand new, Mascara, Silver lining, Let it burn, Mona lisa (even tho the live version slays it) If you dare, etc.  She did tf outta that

!!!!! The reviews are good and it was a hell of an era considering everyone including Brandy had to sit at home. I don't think she'd be in the space she's in today without that album so i am SO grateful she was brave enough to drop it.

Sevyn didn't make any noise and it's sad...nobody I know heard her album....

'wish she got the same fanfare as summer...

And her album was way better than Summer's.

I enjoyed Heaux Tales but I think it's the subject matter that really pushed it over the edge. It started conversations.  A lot of millennial 30-somethings could relate.
