I saw Aaliyah as like a horror movie queen and dark R&B ruler/dancer  but like Lonz says that was later in her career.

Yeah, we cant judge an 8 yr old Aaliyah just based on what we saw her in as an adult. I'm sure she would've showed even more range in her acting had she not passed.
