Not Foxy and Lil Kim actually shooting at each other.

And Foxy being dark skinned was all Kim needed to NOT be intimidated by her :dead: . The logic that runs around here sometimes.

And what marque was saying is that Shim could have been intimidated by Fox's confidence .

She wasn't out there tweaking her mug for filth and getting smacked around by random male rappers.

For the most part Fox would simply throw on her little wet n wavy weave and call it a day. With occasional other mess here and there .

As messy as Fox was/is, she always seemed more stable than Shim. Even now. Not that it's hard to be more stable than shim but I get what Marque was saying .

it's not unheard of or far fetched for people to be threatened by those who are more secure - regardless of their aesthetic. I don't think that's the issue Shim had with Fox tbh but what he said wasn't illogical.

Neither was Kim during the time Foxy was on the radar, which ended in 2001. By that Kim had only gotten her teeth done. There was no tweaking of anything outside of that.

This is no less than Kim in those years. Except Kim had a blonde wig, and better fashions, which Foxy tried to emulate multiple times. There are statements from Kim's stylists about Fox trying to hire and hound them, to dress her like Kim.

Foxy is stable? The same Foxy who has had multiple run ins with the law, fighting, stealing, not paying nail technicians, spitting on people? Are you serious? You dont know Fox outside of 3 songs and brown skin and it shows. The only instability Kim has shown is her struggle with not loving her looks which you just outlined your complete understanding of in the other thread about Black women and standards of beauty ESPECIALLY in Hollywood.

1) I said Fox is MORE stable, but was/is still messy. Which means Shim is stable in some way too, but just less IMO. Context boo

2) Shim always did the most with her aesthetic. I'm not really checking dates as to when she started chopping n screwing her mug but if deep insecurities existed before that date (which it's fair to say they did) it still speaks to the logical conclusion that she may have been threatened by someone who seemed more secure. I spoke to what Fox wasn't doing at the time, not so much as to what Shim was doing at the time. If that makes sense

Not that I agree that she was threatened by Fox's confidence but it's not far fetched.

Does that makes sense?

I didn't say shim was jealous though

I literally just said that I don't really agree with that conclusion but it's just not far fetched or illogical

It's possible to see the sense in something without agreeing with it. Bbbbb
