i rarely get teary for celeb deaths, especially if they're older and simply succumbing to the inevitable

but my heart dropped.

to be black, gay and such a force.

he had his challenges and maybe took missteps, but he still made such a mark.
im just so sad that his story ended with him trying to secure what probably should have been completely his by now...his home.
