honestly considering this was the first time hip-hop was the focal point of the superbowl
...

it doesn't seem like the "superbowl stage" is actually built for hip-hop performances.
especially HARD hip hop like Dr Dre, Snoop etc.
moreso pop, rock, "rap" like Missy does, etc.

they did a really good job though.

I agree. There's no THEATRICS and stuff
I was looking at Dre and Snoop just standing there rapping gyhyghhbh
I still enjoyed it because I liked their music but wasn't SPECTACULAR
