honestly considering this was the first time hip-hop was the focal point of the superbowl
...

it doesn't seem like the "superbowl stage" is actually built for hip-hop performances.
especially HARD hip hop like Dr Dre, Snoop etc.
moreso pop, rock, "rap" like Missy does, etc.

they did a really good job though.

With the exception of the pro black message, I hated everything about it & that was the most boring halftime show ever



I like most of those artists but urban music just doesn't translate well in a stadium setting, at a show being watched by over 100 million

They really need to only let pop stars headline the halftime show. All the recent GOOD shows were done by female pop stars (Madonna, Bey, Katy, Gaga, Shakira/JLo)
