I knew when they teamed up with Triller it was going to be a disaster. I remember they tried launch an app like Instagram and it totally flopped. (I think Brandy was making a nyx ad for Triller at some point but I never saw the campaign?!)

It would have been good for YouTube. They could have made money from ads. Add LiveChat with subscriptions - members only chat. Add Q&A sessions and let people pay superchats for questions. Everyone has YouTube anyways. Triller hosted boxing events with pay per view, I don't think that could work for Verzuz. A membership to chat (4 dollars a month) and maybe members only videos would have been more realistic.
