She never explicitly says it, but I get the sense that Brandy wasn't in full support of the direction the writing took this season. Nonetheless, I'm glad she got this opportunity and if the show comes back, agree that it would be good to actually focus more on the music and them touring.

They spent more time at Bree's house than they did on the stage lol

That's a really good question.

I feel like maybe they had budget cuts after the lackluster ratings, that led them to produce it in a cheaper way, like one main set, and less performances/music.
