ESPECIALLY when said blogger/gossip columnist is extra messy. A lot of celebs or recognizable people do their best to at least stay in their good graces just in case they need them to keep certain things off of their platform, specifically if it's negative.

I can understand wanting to build the credibility and reputation of ur blog mess ... I mean TMZ had to break a string of legit stories to gain its reputation . So i get it

but it kinda backfired . I would fire whoever helped him do this mess . Unless it was just him behind the computer screen himself piecing together clues
