so glad i was taught to appreciate all types of beauty and looks.

i remember when i first saw fantasia on american idol...she def looked different than a lot of younger black women that were being pushed out there in any type of mainstream media at the time. especially in entertainment/music.

and my grandmother had the biggest girl crush on her. couldn't stop raving about how beautiful she was.

ill never forget it. sounds so little but she was teaching me something and didn't even know it
