But Vonc I do get what ur saying. The "I'm the shit" may just be a bit too much and I don't necessarily want for her to go on a "I'm The Shit" tour. But I do still believe Bran at this point in her career can say it if she wants and however many times she wants. And if her saying something like this garners attention from people, all the better. After listening to B&P, no one in their right mind would even think...to disagree.

I agree that she has always been very humble and almost to her detriment at times, so I have no issue with herr feeling her shit, ESPECIALLY after 20+ years in. I just dont want her giving people a reason to have a bad taste in their mouth. People are already gonna talk about u, dont give em ammo. I  think its funny that we're bringing up Dawn, Beyonce, and others but these are the SAME people that we sit here and hate on and take issue with for alot of their personality traits. Dont have a blind eye when it comes to Brandy.

But people aren't having a bad taste in their mouths. They're actually loving that she's saying it. It's 2016, it's not the 90s anymore. I even remember when Jazmine and Brandy had a insta video w/ Jaz teaching Bran how to do runs and some folks in the comments were like, "Brandy gorl...no, YOU'RE the teacher". And like Brandy already said in that video, she's not here to please the haters. She's here for the people that support her and wanna ride with her. So fuck the few who don't believe she's the shit or she's being cocky. All these rappers and male artists, and even some female artists doing it, Brandy should be doing it. Get the people talkin!

When Bran is in her zone, at home, in the studio, she gets it done. But sometimes when giving a live performance, she does hold back or uses a pre-recorded track. So that kinda feeling is understandable. I feel as though this wont be the case for this era though. She's even saying she can't wait to see how her body responds to her singing the song live. When has she ever said something like that? I can't fucking wait.
