Well it's hard to get over the past hurts with your family when you're still being treated as an outcast by those same people. They wanted her to get over it, but they never changed the way  they moved either. I understood that because I've been there, but l chose to remove myself and deal with those people at a distance.

I think that was the issue. She chose to still be around them and deal with certain stuff, but that was only setting her back mentally.

I thought Toni seemed pretty close with Towanda as well. I dont think there's anything wrong with that tho.  I have siblings that I favor as well. Siblings or not, if we don't get then we dont gel. I don't force connections simply based off of familial relation. Sometimes certain family members ain't your type of people and THATS ok

I did too before i heard about Towanda going on Iyanla and revealing she too felt like the black sheep. She became close with Toni much later from my understanding of the situation. Check out the clip i posted, Traci kinda broke it down a bit. I too come from a large family, and im the oldest i can relate and understand Toni's POV more than the rest of them because i just get it, it's familiar.

I will definitely be rewatching that season soon, s i definitely would catch it. And i agree with seasons in the family thing, i have been the the favorite and the scapegoat lol.

it is hard to get over the past, but the issue wasnt a matter of them still treating her any certain way. again, i think her issue was resentment stemming from them moving on with their careers. thats the root of the tension. and we saw the way traci would act out on the show with our own eyes. imagine dealing with YEARS of that. their treatment of her was a result of her behavior and that behavior was rooted in her resentment.

late quee CREATED that narrative for herself. the gors (aside from tamar) did nothing but try to understand her. i think she never got over not signing with the braxtons and i think she resented the other girls for moving forward but it wasn't their fault she got pregnant. i honestly think she would have been ok if they had turned the deal down and waited on traci to have her son. but that's not fair at all. or realistic.

As others have said, there had to be other factors into why she acted out and was treated that way. What i find very interesting, is she (Traci) was the only one that encourage Toni to take the solo deal when the label did not wanna sign them as a group. Her words "No Need for all of us to be sitting here broke". Definitely more to the story from my viewpoint.....

I got that as well. I can understand why She's a epic beauty, immensely talented, etc. Yea, Toni was pretty clear about who she really bonded with.

If you watched the show from beginning to end there is no doubt Toni is closest to Tamar.

I don't think anyone is denying the fact that she had resentment towards them for moving forward in their careers without her. But it also doesn't negate the fact that she was treated a certain way. It was plain to see, especially in their actions. So no I don't think she was victimizing herself and I don't think she had the attitude she had for no reason. They did treat her differently than they treated each other.

It's easy for the person whose making you a feel a way to tell you get over it, because it's not them on the receiving end. And BESIDES the record deal, like someone else, the parents divorce plays a part as well as the fact that she was the odd one. She didn't fit in with the rest of them. She was an outcast.

You literally don't know this. Not speaking as if the mess was a fact. 
How do we know they didn't treat Traci like the black sheep BEFORE she got pregnant and was exiled from the group? She's said she's ALWAYS felt that way so...

& a lot of the time Traci lashed out was justified tbh. We've seen Toni tell her she needs to lose 40 lbs when she was like 160 lbs, we've seen Transwanda gleefully spread rumors about her husband having a side baby & Tamar's behavior towards Traci is WELL documented. & that's JUST on the Reality Show. Ain't no telling what happened before. Trina, the daddy and the brother are the only ones that really liked Traci like that. Sorry. Traci had her issues but I don't think ALL the mess stems from some flop group. imagine dealing with YEARS of being treated like a damn stepchild

This. Traci's biggest issue was holding mess in and letting it boil until she exploded. She rarely called mess out right when it happened & didn't articulate her grievances well. Often times she was passive aggressive. HOWEVER... just because she didn't handle confronting the mess as well as she could have, pretending like they never did anything to provoke her is disingenuous as hell. Like we literally watched their behavior toward her
