He was a BIG child. 6'5 340 lbs. He was denied on every other ride. I wonder if someone was 'sympathetic' and wanted him to enjoy at least one ride. My god.

He was too big to be on any rides but omg this is heartbreaking
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

They just said the investigation has revealed that his seat was still locked after the accident.
what in the houdini hell

If the seatbelt was locked, the chest support must've cracked somewhere else, just as I suspected..

The rides themselves aren't really that unsafe.... it's the negligence of the workers. He clearly was too big.... the mess didn't even look LOCKED/closed down properly. And if it was indeed locked, the pressure of his 350 pound WEIGHT was obviously too much for the mess to withstand. Like Oph said, everybody need to SUE.

And when you're 14 years old, you're not thinking logically like that. He was probably already embarrassed from being turn away from every other ride, so with them saying he can squeeze on this one, of course he was getting on it. He's a kid.

But also, my thing is like....  so what do they do? If they start weighing people, it's discrimination and profiling. They obviously can't just be taking people's word for it because people lie about their weight. Everyone also wears weight differently... a 350 pound person could very possibly fit securely into the seat, but the weight itself is still too much to sustain the safety...

*separate convo from this case ❤️*

this is so sad.

the family wants the ride removed
So the dad disclosed his weight (after the incident)... not the child. It sounds like the establishment is trying to throw the employees under the bus, but what are your PROCEDURES for accurately checking that people are 280 lbs or below? Cuz I know y'all not weighing them...

There should be a scale and signs that clearly state if your fat ass still insists on risking your life the park will not be held accountable for your death

For some reason suicide came to mind as a possibility and I wanted to rule it out .... But I wouldn't say it's impossible that he may have forced himself to slip out of the ride

I hate to say it . But it def came to mind just as a possibility .

What he said to his friend before the accident  .... and now these investigation findings ...

I wonder how high up they were when he told his friend about him predicting he wouldn't  make it thru the ride and to tell his parents he loves them. Cuz if it were closer to the ground before takeoff why wouldn't he yell and scream for them to stop the ride if he felt he was in danger ? Even a child knows to do that.

If it wasn't closer to the ground and already way up in the air that's understandable .

But then again, some people say stuff like that out of playfulness . Like on a ride that's scary ... "girl we gon die!!!! 🤣🤣🤣" so that's also very possible he was just joking. It's one of those things you'd have to hear for yourself to really assess what the TONE of his voice was when he said it .

for all we know as of now it was a tragic accident .

yeah I had that thought too.
