Rock seems to enjoy hitting Black women below the belt.

In his 2009 documentary Good Hair, Rock spent the entire film making jokes about Black women's hair. He said Black women who wore weaves and other protective hair styles practiced deception, and chastised them for spending thousands of dollars trying to fit into society that values long, straight hair. The movie was supposed to be educational, but read as mean-spirited.

this little scenario you've whipped up has nothing to do with what i'm saying as my statement is in reference to the will/chris situation where a known comedian made a joke on stage at an awards show and that is clearly the context in which my comment should be taken. not some pop-up hypotetical about me randomly messageming jokes to a celebrity

aint nobody saying uts INHERENTLY funny. but jokes can be made about itbthat ARE funny just like almost anything else.

but I'll just say my hope is that if a black woman who is close to u says "I don't like when people make fun of the way black women look naturally... not cool" ur first response to her isn't "girl it's just jokes like everything else lol I don't see the big issue."

i hope u take time to affirm and comfort her . And have EMPATHY and sensitivity . I've noticed The same words keep coming up when I chat with u . Empathy and sensitivity .

the same can be said about anything thats joked about. thats my point. and yea, WITHIN THE GIVEN CONTEXT, no i dont see an issue with a comedian doing what comedians do. that seems to bee a recurring issue when i chat with you. recognizing/applying context.
