If someone played a Beyoncé song before Kelly's performance as a joke she def wouldn't be laughing .

It's less of a "sensitivity to comedy" thing and more about respect and professionalism

It's not the easiest thing to handle when it's clear you're being disrespected ... maybe if he were on stage of "wildn out" where the expectation is different that would be different

ophababes.

nah

apple and oranges

there is a WELL-DOCUMENTED issue with ppl always trying to put kelly in beys shadow, so the SHADE in that scenario would be evident due to the history there.

theres no history here. it was a one off joke. so yea, it wasn't that deep bby.

ophababes.

there is a history of people clowning him with Rick Ross jokes

I kinda referenced it on page 1 love . In the OP actually

So I'm glad we agree when there's a clear history of that specific joke it's definitely disrespect .

this clip is cut short - only showing his reaction
but everyone is saying it was a rick ross joke gone wrong.

very unprofessional of the DJ ..ur introducing an artist and clearly that rick ross mess is commonly used to insult santana.

I honestly think the history of the joke is what triggered him.

Freemala Harris

I think its about tact

Its one thing to mess online but to clown someone at their show in their face live onstage is pretty crass

As a professional at that too

Edge gorl

Right its not tht deep

Beys band nd dancers have pranked her before

I remember on I AM tour she was pranked

Santana plea'

ophababes.

I don't see how literally comparing one running joke/shade to another is "reaching" but ok .

I literally said he shouldn't have thrown water on the DJs equipment and that Latto should def have a talk with him about that.

It could have ruined her show if that equipment got damaged . Or at least delayed it.

Its In the 2nd post of the thread.

I'm what you'd call ... fair, logical and reasonable .
I actually think.
