Idk if Monique's contract said she was the headliner first. Obviously, they were both told conflicting stories at some point. I don't think Monique taking issue with things being changed for her last min is an issue. Her points are usually valid. It's the way she goes about them in the nastiest, most negative way she possibly can.

Did she really need to come out and insult his wife and call DL a b*€ch @ss n*gg@? Insult the whole gay community by using it as an insult to say DL is on the DL. Why? It was uncalled for. Her grievances should have been handled backstage with the promoter.

And if she had such an issue with DL say it to his face and talk to him first. How is the very first time he's hearing her side of the story when she's getting on stage to cuss him out and then sending him on stage afterwards to deal with the backlash of you turning the audience against him?

I'm stating facts. DL has been pulling smoke and mirrors from the time he started this mess with his false receipts

And had a lot of people siding with him initially saying monique was completely in the wrong and speaking as if she was delusional about the contract until monique actually brought out her contract.

The way that DL has been handling this mess speaks a lot to his character. Very sneaky and deceptive. It gives even more credence to what Monique says about him and how he handles things behind the scenes .

But he's clearly not very smart so he's sloppy and got checked pretty quickly with those ridiculous "receipts"

And it is also FACT that him putting out that memo as contract confused a lot of people - now many people believe there have been TWO contracts presented when in reality there has only been one. People are literally saying "I'm confused"

And that's clearly what he was counting on with his trickery .

I'm just calling a spade wtf it is. I deal in facts and receipts .

If I were mo'nique I'd be super frustrated seeing mess like that. Someone has to make sure her side on this clear . And full context on DL is provided

Eh after giving it some more thought Monique was wrong. She should have directed that energy towards the promoters, but once again she's making her grievances public and showing her ass.

Her attitude is, this what my contact says and fuck you for trying to do anything different than what I want (sounds familiar)  I don't even like DL or find him funny - and I would argue that Mo is is a bigger name but regardless, the promoters gave him top-billing. I even watched some DL interviews and he's never come for Mo the way she did on that stage. And the mess that happened at the radio show wasn't even says by him.

I love Mo but she's exhausting and has zero conflict resolution skills.

And thats the bottom line for me. I havent even listened to Monique's rant or much of what DL has to say. I really dont care. If this was DL verses Tiffany, or Luenell perhaps I would. But Im just over Monique having these intense public beefs with people. And she could be very well right. I dont care about seeing contracts and proof of this or that. Just handle shit differently, especially when you are back on the rise of working again. Whatever mess her and DL got going on, Im positive that these kinda things happen all the time in stand up comedy. And other comedians have stated that themselves. Just deal with ur shit privately, specifically the people who are the parties to your contract.

honestly if DL woulda just came out to us like

"U kno what... yeah I had the schedule switched ... my ego got in the way a bit and I did what I did ."

I woulda still NIBBLED on his skull just a bit but I woulda left it alone . Like ok he's taking accountability and just keepin it real with us .

But he chose to play in our faces and try to deceive us .,. So instead of us thinking ok maybe mo'nique just overreacted a bit and handled it a lil harshly

Why would he need to? The PROMOTER told him he was top billing, and he confirmed that with receipts. Unless the promoter and[/] DL signed the contract Mo produced it doesn't mean shit.

I could write a contract right now stating that Squid has to relinquish Admin privileges to me and everyone in this thread is banned. It's all just paper work unless it's signed by the other people involved. Which is why I said previously, this isn't Mo and DL's wrong doing, but the promoters . But she made it public in the worst way possible, per usual.

The MEMO that DL showed us was from his TEAM/agency. Not the promoter .

I researched to confirm what company was on the header of the MEMO. It was a NOTE from HIS TEAM (not the promoter) saying what they were going to or claiming what they had secured for him.

Monique is the only who has produced a document between performer and promoter directly .. a CONTRACT.

As in, handled by lawyer listed at top  , signatures of all involved including promoters .

have you read the entire contract and what it states specifically?

She'd have to have grounds for a lawsuit through details provided in the contract to go after the promoter directly.

Her hands may be tied legally due to language used in the contract that could be protecting the promoter from this action .

However , she can tap DLs ass for playing games all she wants to.

She produced a legitimate contract with the promoter  AND  a printed schedule from the promoter which proves she was originally slated to headline , as she said she was . DL has not .

If she sues, there will definitely be a counter suit against her.

She hasn't even followed through with the lawsuit against Netflix. A judge granted her a motion to proceed forward with the lawsuit in 2020, but no word of anything else happened.

It takes money to sue. Lawyer fees are not cheap. I believe Mo is broke. She's probably doing these little radio shows to scrap up whatever little money she can. Po Mo.
