Listen. As an actual lawyer, ALL of her anger should be aimed at the promoters. There's no debating this. Both parties may have contracts for the top billing, but they (for whatever reason) chose to honor HIS contract instead of hers. She should take legal action against the promoters and move on 🤷🏾‍♂️

Can we really say whats a solid "open and shut case" without actually reviewing her contract in full to ensure there was no language used to relieve promoters of responsibility for any last minute changes would could include a line up ?

But if she's the main act, that would be the most important clause in her contract. A clause absolving promoters of liability for line up changes, which breaches the CORE tenet of the contract, is nonsensical. It renders the contract useless basically 🤷🏾‍♂️

Can we really say whats a solid "open and shut case" without actually reviewing her contract in full to ensure there was no language used to relieve promoters of responsibility for any last minute changes would could include a line up ?

So she went on a rant about not being the contractually agreed-upon headliner when there is language in the contract stating, "... or we can switch it up lol"?

She absolutely doesn't have a leg to stand on if she signed something that says that.

Either they breached the contract (which she alleged they did) or they didn't.  If they did, there is whole legal system that will get her justice.

Monique's whole problem is her husband. Her career was going great before him. He never knew anything about management in the entertainment industry and keeps steering her wrong. He has her thinking everyone else is against her, and he's the only one she can trust. That whole situation sends red flags. 

Mary J's husband managed her career, and he was still taking her money and living a double life. Wendy Williams' husband ran her business and he was using her as well. We see how that turned out. Monique's husband started off by saying he wanted an "open" marriage. I can only imagine the other women he's seeing. And he's alienating her from everyone around her. Just sends red flags...
