Someone explain this to me tho, Meghan Trainor was nominated last year in all those big categories. I guess maybe it was just for her all about that Bass song but she was still nominated, so how is she in the best new artist category this year? I swear they make shit up as they go along

that's becuase AATB came out just in time for cut-offs
but she hasn't been out long enough to be considered a BNA nominee

although it seems longer, she just came out in June of last year

The very moment I heard that Justin Bieber was performing, it was clear Tori would too. Justin performed at the VMAs and so did Tori. Also the EMAs and so did Tori. Justin performed on The Voice Finale and so did Tori. It really is like, "You want Justin? Well, you can get him...IF you let Tori perform".

Tori is extremely talented and deserves to perform on the Grammy stage. She really is one of the best talented artists to come out last year. As for her winning the Best New Artist grammy, it's gonna happen. Period. Meghan may win but the Grammys dont care about sales and popularity.

So thrilled for her.
