Love the concept and melody, hate instrumentation tho... there's a part in the 2nd half of the song that is so hard on the ears . When it first came out and I was listening over and over it would give me a headache 🤕

Yes, she really has a lot of songs that need this treatment and this is one.

Tori Kelly kinda made the song more special when slowed down a bit with a less pop sound. If she gives it that Almost Doesn't Count kinda arrangement, I'd feel it more.



Rodney made the record sound like a Mary Mary track.

But I still like it a lot and want to see her performing it again. Would be a good way to close her show, like a Thank U to her fans.

Great song, even better when she sings it live. I think...the concept for the video was...a bit more ambitious than the budget available to her. But hey, this was Brandy during her rebuilding era so, it's fitting imo.
