I was confused to how she could remain perched if she was just Airbnb-ing but apparently if you perch somewhere for over 30 days, you have legal RIGHTS. Squatters n ALL.

It's a whole long process to have them removed. Someone in the comments said they were in a similar situation and it took 2 months to have the squatter removed. This is a MESS.

The person filled a restraining order and the owner of the house had to vacate their own home in order to not break the order
