People are always quick to throw this mess out there -- "black on black crime!", etc. And while yes we do kill one another, we have to remember where it stems from. Drugs and gangs for the most part. Sales of drugs in our communities stems from a lack of income in the household, feeling the need to go out and sell mess just to keep up with what Josh's parents can buy him from their middle class salary....
Gangs which have become popular in our community because of the absence of black fathers in the household, the innate need for us to belong to something, and have that male authoritative figure, even if he's not the best example.....all leads to these senseless killings. It's not like we are just going outside and saying "woo! time to kill off my own fucking race!
