i honestly think a big reason why a lot of these mass shooters are captured alive (aside from their whiteness) is because there's a lot of eyes on these highly publicized events. everything is being closely watched and reviewed from start to finish.
so they may find themselves tryna go completely by-the book.
kinda like OJ....he took the gorls on a chase in a bronco with a gun in hand after killing two white people
something a regular degular black man wouldn't dare dream of getting out of alive
but he was famous with a lot of people watching LIVE on television to see how it was handled before the cops even successfully cornered him
i can imagine cops being extra sure they are completely by-the-book and super careful in these instances.
there has to be extra pressure of some sort.
yeah it's an alleged killer they're dealing with and im sure a lot of people wouldn't mind seeing them taken out , but if you're the person who pulls the trigger and kills this now-famous suspect you're gonna be in the hot seat...not with the public of course...but with your superiors - with the gorls combing through your mess step by step wanting to know why you resorted to that.
you're basically acting as an executioner before the suspect gets a trial. there better be a good reason.
with so many eyes on a tea i can see them thinking twice before getting reckless.
the beltway/DC snipers capture is another example. the perfect example exactly.
i remember being shocked they were black
and even more shocked they weren't immediately killed. but it kinda makes sense.
black men are killed every other day just for gettin pulled over for a broken tail light with no weapons on them
and these two black men were captured in their car and taken in with no issue after murdering multiple people in cold blood
one would think umm wtf. but it makes sense to me. it's the publicity/pressure IMO
shouldn't be this way but mess.
