I'm honestly asking as a fan...

I feel like the pandemic slowed down the world long enough just to remind us of the Legend slipping through our fingers which is Ghan... but I know us core starz always realize how great she is, but since the world is opening back up and what not... do y'all think B8 will resonate like B7 did?

Ulysses

B7 didn't really resonate, honestly. She was recognized quite a bit the past couple years as a legend and one of the greatest (which is wonderful because she truly IS), but I truly believe Bran can def still have an ERA. I know we say the charts don't mean shit, but they really do. That's how you know something is really getting to the audiences. Is she gonna sell millions? Probably not, but I wouldn't doubt my girl being able to hit almost a million in album sales one day again.

B7 didn't really resonate and the pandemic didn't really contribute to what it did do at all so this thread was kind of dumb

Like...Brandy can easily do what she did with B7 and even more.

Now if you said Chloe x Halle...THEY benefited from the pandemic but not Bran

The Only BLACK Kalmyks

Project started: 2014 Wrapped up: 2024

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

Harlem

She would've benefited if she just released Rather Be from the jump... but I think Brandy is gonna have a better era with B8 b/c it seems like she learned her kinks (dos & donts) with being independent, she has a official label backing again and cares about being glammed up

Brandy will bring the heat. Some of you clearly don't understand Brandy. I don't know about the charts, but Brandy will make a play for a commercial sounding hit.

Brandy can definitely have a successful next era. Brandy performances lately have been amazing. She has looked amazing and people are talking about her.

Now that she is back with a label. She need to get in with some too notch producers that's gonna understand sound and what she want but with high quality mixing

B7 with that healing album. Now it's time to return to R&b/rap and have fun with it. The right sound with the vocal bible will make her soar.

Brandy can have an era any time any place

B7 did what it did even though there was a pandemic. Not because of it.

I do understand what you mean about the pandemic creating a captive audience and there were probably moments during b7 that benefited from that. The Vz battle for example. BUT this all was made possible by B R A N D Y hustling to deliver an ERa. The Era didn't deliver her.

As long as she stays hustling the eras will stay coming

I don't see where B7 really "resonated." Sddddddddd she was just more active and visible than we've seen in over a decade. And clearly Covid didn't play a role in that. Like others said, Brandy is capable of doing whatever she wanna do... it's just if she's gonna do it.
