he basically took to twitter to post a link to "hebrews to negroes" - which is basically one of those hotep movies claiming that black people are the "original jews" , and the movie also claims that the holocaust is some sort of made up event that never happened. (trailer below)
many are calling it "anti-semitic", while others in his defense are saying he's posting "the truth"
i personally don't feel like he was/is being
intentionally hateful and harmful. i don't think his end goal or message was "kill the jews!" . but instead he just strongly believes in and subscribes to something that is totally wrong, and totally not fact-based in any way.
That movie features a completely made up fairytale that erases and rewrites the real, fact based, science confirmed history of Africans we descend from and morphs them into "egyptians!" , "israelites!" - which in itself is offensive. and in addition to that, dismissing real life consequences of Jewish people who existed in the era of the Holocaust and eras slightly before/after that - many of whom who I know for a fact fled their home countries in Eastern Europe to America - most likely
just to avoid being killed.
I don't think Kyrie is evil or trying to hurt anyone. I just think he strongly believes in something that is not true and he needs to be better educated and informed. He has a right to his beliefs but if I knew him, I'd encourage him to open himself up to the possibility that, based on facts, what he believes may not be real.
