The Rihanna incident is not his only incident. He beat Karreuche too apparently, he had a tantrum on GMA and threw a chair through their window, he beat up Frank Ocean, he actually was in jail around like 2014? IDK why ppl are acting like Chris has been a well behaved angel after the Rihanna fight

i honestly think this is a combo of Chris and Michael's mess.

i dont think its JUST about what Chris did in the past.

you have some Michael fans out here saying "GOOD! Chris doesn't deserve to represent the King!" as if Michael's legacy hasn't seen its own challenges.

and like there aren't people who feel like michael isn't even deserving of being honored.

granted, we know for sure chris put his hands on rihanna. and there was never a smoking gun for mike's mess , although there was smoke.

but again perception will many times override hard facts/absence of hard evidence.

for both men, severely damaged public perception/image is something shared. and it all has to do with (alleged) mistreatment and (alleged) abuse of other human beings in some way.

chris is super talented and i'd never take that away from him.
