The wackest part about this whole thing is them booking him and then for Chris, his team, and dancers wasting their time putting a performance together... it's inconsiderate regardless of his past

AMAs should've got this reviewed with the larger network and curved him from the jump so him and his team didn't waste time & hard work to putting on a performance.

they def need to reimburse him if they hadn't already handled the bill for his dancers etc

He can't get his time back but they def need to cough up a coin  .

But ultimately it's all about what's in the agreement he / his management signed to beforehand . Which I'm sure included details on how an abrupt cancellation would be handled

It was a tribute for the 40th anniversary of Thriller.  He was only performing songs from that album.
