What do you guys think of these new AI that let you recreate existing songs with someone elses vocals? There are even some that write entire songs. Is this the end of real artistry or something cool to embrace? Should we make Brandy sing other artists songs with the help of AI? Discuss!  :stressed:

Yes! I've been wondering how this works.

I want to hear a Brandy vocal of a Whitney or Mariah song. How do they do this?

The Only BLACK Kalmyks

Project started: 2014 Wrapped up: 2024

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

Are y'all listening to these though? It doesn't sound like the person it's supposed to for most of the vocal. But it's clear how they're doing it by splicing together notes and syllables the singer has sang before that match the lyrics and notes of the song in question

Yeah it doesn't sounds that authentic

But I do feel like it'll be nearly unrecognizable to tell the difference one day

JCJ

Yeah you can tell it's fake but it does give you a rough idea of what it would sound like

Amazing

Once the technology is fully developed I will be getting my entire life.>>>>>>>>>

I dont like this concept. I was ok with AI fkn with "real" artists paintings. But leave the music alone
