On the contrary, the acting gigs are IT. Acting is making Brandy more money than music these days. If Brandy mentioned that she made a loss for the B7 album, I wouldnt be surprised. Music  pay the bills guys. Its the side projects that do. And she needs to earn her money. I dont blame her one bit for going where the money resides.

also why do fans care how much money their fav is making? unless some of it is going into my pocket, im just gonna care for whatever i enjoy most from the artist, which in this case is music. I am really excited for the movies aswell though.

I dont personally care about how much money Brandy makes. But I will never fault anyone for getting to the money over what I personally want from them. The same way I could care less if Rihanna decides to focus on other ventures than releasing another album (cause thats what her fans want). I want music more than anything. I didnt even watch pass EPISODE 2 of Queens. But Brandy has earned the right to do whats best for her, her desires and her bank account.

I have a filming The Front Room, Descendants and The christmas film will all be released back to back.

I hope she capitalizes on that with music releases. Especially with music/tv/movie award season around the end of 2023.

I too hope she capitalizes from the movies with new music. I hope she also gets a publicist to capitalize off the exposure. The studios will set the promo schedule, but a publicist would help maximize her personal exposure. I remember Issa Rae said her publicist set the goal of getting her on a magazine cover each month for the last season of 'Insecure' and the publicist came through & that happened.

More personal exposure will lead to more endorsement deals for her.

A publicist would be amazing, but I doubt she'll get one.

I'm just hoping things fall in her lap this go around because that seems to be the only way to get the ball rolling, so to speak.

What's crazy is that she has one and he only gets her mediocre exposure at best smh ! Too busy tryna be her friend and superfan then doing his job!!

His connections only get his clients a feature in Vibe, People, on Sherri Shepards' show & The Breakfast Club. Bran needs someone with connections to bigger publications and shows. On top of that someone LA based who is mingling & going to industry events to expand their network.

This is too big of a career year for her to be having a small publicist. Bran needs more exposure & he's not getting it for her.
