and Im fucking PISSED.

I had been waiting on it to be released. Because from the trailer last year it looked like a excellent love story

watched it last night and....  :bvy: :udontlookok:

Not every good budget gay love story involving aids. :rudone:

I mean... I thought the guy had gotten cancer from what I saw in the trailer.
So I was cool with that.

I understand the time frame. But every gay from that time didnt die of HIV. wtf
what kind of WIPEOUT.

BAPHOMET.

and not every gay guy now is cheating, having unprotected sex, and VILE.

:uhh: :diddraispoot: im not. So i'd like for them to make a movie relatable to me

sssssddsss

When I became an adult I had an obsession with gay film

You can find a bunch of movies without aids and back alley sex

You just have to look hard. And it won't be the relevant ones.

yekim

every gay film ends in tragedy. someones cheats, someone leaves, someone gets aids, or someone dies.

like, I get it. I know being a fag can be kinda tragic sometimes but goddamnit we need some escapism in cinema too fff

just make a damn rom com already and have a fucking happy ending for once :dead:

They make it seem like gays dont have happy & bubbly relationships. Sure there are some hard times.
No relationship is perfect (arguments, disagreements, ect). But when it's a gay film.... Its because cheated at a Gloryhole or some mess and now dying  :mmyulost: :damselindistress:

I watched a cute lil movie staring Marco from Degrassi once called Make the Yuletide Gay.

It was nice for Homosexual movie standards.
tbh I've see alot of "happy" gay films but you have to lower your standards to enjoy them

BAPHOMET.

where the FUCK is the gay version of The Notebook and The Time Travelers Wife ?

Sinpool

wait there is this one movie I forgot the name of it, but it slayed.

It was a bunch of men in prison putting on a play. It switched from the prison world to the actual real world with all the prisoners being real world characters. I thought it was beautiful.

tv aint no better

gays always painted as something stereotypical

- bitchy
- flamboyant
- queeny
- a funny sidekick
- a ho

like, not every fag is a queen who fucks a hundred people a week. and another thing - they always make them smooth muscled pretty white hunks. its so damn fucking boring. and totally unrealistic.

where are the regular guys? the average joes? the ones who don't act like the above, the ones who act like their straight counterparts? oh that's right, we don't act like them. no, we couldn't possibly. we're not normal you see. we always have to be some heightened version of someone's stereotypical image. otherwise, what would be the point of us right?

SMH fuck everything that features gays at the moment :dead:

I haven't watched anything in years but "Strapped" was really interesting. It's about a gay prostitute ssdsdsdd but I swear it's not as basic as I'm making it sound

And "weekend" & "shank"

right?! why does it have to be a dark indie festival movie about some fucked up drama or a tv special event about aids?

where is the light and bright with just the right amount of drama about a love story, backed by a major studio with a modest $20 mill budget and some decent popular actors?

is it too damns much to ask?!
